The museum presents Lake Cerknica with a unique model that acquaints us, on smaller scale, with the spatial position of the lake and its wider karst surroundings between Mt. slivnica and the highly forested Javorniki Mts. Through a professional interpretation we shall learn, in detail, about the water system functioning, including the origin and intermittence of this karst phenomenon. Through demonstration of the water system, we shall listen to the sound recordings of life along the lake, and thus experience the entire nature, water, birds, and other animals...
